Dekart SIM Manager

In many cases, losing all phone numbers and messages is worse than losing the phone itself. To prevent such situations, you can use Dekart SIM Manager to copy all your contacts and messages to your computer, where they can stay safe. The application serves other purposes as well. For example, it is also capable of writing data to the phone's SIM, besides reading it, which gives you more possibilities. If you get a new mobile phone, because the old one got lost or stolen, you will be able to write your contacts directly on the phone's SIM, at a moment's notice.

The software is free to try for 30 days. It can be installed in just a few seconds, on any modern Windows version. Besides the software itself, the setup file will also install a special driver, for reading SIM data.

Dekart SIM Manager is not like other phone data managers. The software is focused specifically on the SIM, regardless of the phone's make and model. As long as you can connect your mobile phone to your computer, you will be able to back up its contacts immediately, without making any complex configurations and without requiring special cables or devices. Relying on the aforementioned driver, the software can work directly with the SIM, to copy your phone numbers, so you have to make sure that all contacts are saved on the SIM.

GSM and Nextel contacts, dialed numbers, SMS messages and other details can be found in separate folders, on the left side of the user interface. You can retrieve this information from several SIMs and categorize them the same way, but in different phonebooks. Besides reading data, the application can also write it on a SIM. When you select a phonebook, you may click one of the options on the left edge of the interface, to read or write data, retrieve the PIN and perform other actions.
